"Creepy"

"I don't know if I like communism, and I don't know if I like socialism. But I know that the Breakfast for Children Program feeds my kids. And if you put your hands on that Breakfast for Children Program …..”
Fred Hampton (8-30-48 to 12-4-69)

If I had one recommendation for young people today, it would be to study Fred Hampton. In 1967, the FBI deemed him a radical threat to the country. Note that in Chicago, he had created the Rainbow Coalition, a multi-racial group that recognized fascism and economic warfare as the primary threat to low-income and middle class communities. Thus, law enforcement brutally murdered him on this date in 1969.

Hampton recognized that positive actions needed to accompany bold speaking. Thus, he knew the Breakfast for Children Program was essential. Thus, I think his legacy should serve as food for thought for all of us. This is not because, as an old man, I am stuck in the past. The exact opposite, because there are children without enough food for a healthy diet, I am focused upon the future.

“They are doing something to you because they feel threatened in some way by your existence.”
Nur Omar Mohamad to his daughter Ilhan Omar

The above quote was a father's understanding of why some individuals were cruel to his daughter in school. His daughter went on to become an advocate for children having nutritious food in her state. She became more politically active. At a precinct caucus she organized in 2014, she was assaulted by a group of five people, suffering a concussion. It required her going to the hospital.

Then she became a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Since then, she has become a favorite target of the felon and his cult. I think her description of the felon's obsession with her as “creepy” is right on target. The Social Science Research Council has stated that Rep. Omar is the primary target in DC for internet hate speech. The brain-dead are convinced she is trying to impose Shariah law in this country, failing to grasp their hero is both lawless and sending federal troops to American cities to inflict fear and injuries to the public.

Two maga-ites running in her district said Rep. Omar should be hung. There have been people arrested for threats against her life. In recent days, the felon has been stirring the pot of ignorance and hatred, resulting in yet another increase in threats. He wants someone – or group – to kill her. My concern is less with the idiots who make threats on the telephone and/or internet, than with the quiet, capable, extremely sick individuals who might think it their duty to their president.

Thus, if you have a couple bucks, I encourage you to donate to Rep. Omar, as she has to pay for increased security at this tense time.

The Chain

“This world and yonder world are incessantly giving birth;
every cause is a mother, its effect the child.
When the effect is born, it to becomes a cause and
gives birth to wonderous effects.
These causes are generation on generation, but it needs
a very well lighted eye to see the links in their chain.”
Jalal-ad-bin Rumi, Persion Sufi poet

He is, in my opinion, the hideous, one-eyed ogre that Thomas Merton said Laurens Van Der Post spoke of, in Merton's introduction to his book “Gandhi on Non-Violence” (New Directions, 1964). He lacks depth perception, rendering his the most shallow of men. Being hollow, all he comes in touch with is damaged. Human beings even beyond his dim awareness also suffer and die.

At times over the last decade, he seemed almost like Victor Frankenstein's monster in Guillermo del Toro's flick, though far less composed of human flesh, due to make-up. Nothing seemed to stop him beyond a brief moment's promise for justice followed by the grief of reality that he escaped meaningful consequence time after time.

Each lie the felon has told is connected to the next, and thus these form the chains that are slowly beginning to tighten around him. For his life is a lie that has up to this point only damaged others. But the universe has a balance and thus we see the decaying flesh of the hideous, one-eyed ogre and listen to the putrefying thoughts of rancid, disconnecting brain.

“You own your lies,” Onondaga Chief Paul Waterman told me from his hospital bed when I asked him if he had a message for society. “And even if it takes a while, every lie you tell will eventually catch up to you. So try very hard to tell the truth. That's what I think. It's better to tell the truth.”

Gandhi said that truth is God, which is distinct from saying God is the truth. He was speaking about an energy force, which is the same as the Haudenosaunee's Power of the Good Mind, when it combines with the Power of Ideas. It is an energy force available to each of us as individuals, which multiplies when we are part of a larger group. An example was citizens collecting food for the poor when Congress was shut down. It is by investing in these things that we will quicken the just ending of the ogre's power to harm others, and actually deliver him to justice.

It may seem a contradiction to say tell the truth, but do not add to the negative force. Certainly, if you are in a large group, such as an extended family holiday gathering, you may “insult” a brain-dead maga who is under the force of the shared delusion that the felon is making America great. Keep in mind that the way you respond to this type has an influence on others listening in. There are positive avenues for communicating the felon's negatives.

The felon will soon be firing several members of the administration. Because he views them as extensions of himself, some of those who make him look bad will have lots more time to spend with their families. Another will be able to travel with his girlfriend, though without a SWAT team for protection. If these bumbling clowns seemed bad, wait until we see their replacements. And it gets worse for him, and better for us.

The maga in Congress are experiencing an implosion. Marjorie Taylor Greene is resigning. Thomas Massie has told about an FBI agent threatening to bring false charges against one of his staff if they continued to advocate for the release of the Epstein scandal files. The offices of both started experiencing the wrath of the rabid maga supporters of the felon. Like all Americans, they see lone phantoms called forth from within the dark shadows, pulling the triggers of weapons of war.

Some more will show signs of the starting of a spine growing in their backs in 2026. But most will not. And so it is our job to either convince them it's not worth running for re-election, or burying their political careers in the mid-terms. That is a very real possibility that is available to us at this time.

The Termination

Despite his hoping for news to distract from the focus on the Epstein scandal files, I am willing to speculate that the felon is not a happy camper today. This is just my opinion – others may think differently – but I will go on the Doors' record as saying I'll bet Pam's bondage as today's target of his rage is an unpleasant experience for her. For as always, someone has to be responsible for the felon's failures.

The felon awoke before noon.
He put his make-up on.
He made a face of ancient inferiority.
And he walked on down the hall.
He went into the room where his ketchup is stored, and then he
Paid a visit to the restroom, and then
He walked on down the hall,
And he came to a door
And he squeezed inside.
“Miller.” “Yes boss.” “I want to kill someone.”
“Pam …... I want to, uh, oh, oh
“Blame you.”

The Pedo Files: Episode One

"A wise man can play the part of a clown, but a clown can't play the part of a wise man.”
Malcolm X

I wish that Malcolm was here to talk about a tough man and a weak man. I'm not just talking about physically tough. Malcolm, for example, was a tough man who was as brave as he was intelligent. The felon-in-chief is a weak man, who feigns being a tough guy. Indeed, in recent days, we have witnessed his desperate to be a rough, tough he-man.

Only a weak man would delight in being cruel to someone who cannot fight back. We have seen this feature of the felon's personality for years. This week, he has been exposed as being what Dr. Bandy Lee refers to as a fragile man, one who when not merely frustrated, but afraid, lashes out at those he deems defenseless. He attributed his hoarse voice to screaming at someone in the administration. The he insults two female journalists for asking him uncomfortable questions. Let's consider these closer.

The fragile man screamed at someone I shall use the code name “polythene Pam” to identify. He was angry with her for two reasons we shall get to soon. Next, at the meeting with a foreign butcher, he was furious with a female reporter. His insults are less important than his use of the word “insubordinate” to describe her. This exposes his error in thinking that she works for him, when in fact that as president, he is the employee of the American people – including reporters.

Perhaps more telling was the swine's calling a female reporter “piggy.” It is not merely his body that is putrefied, it is the essence of his personality. The decaying orange ham has been rendered, at least for the moment, to vulgar sexist insults. Now let's focus on what is upsetting him so.

Like all fragile men, the porcine potbellied president hates being laughed at. One thing that would be humorous if not so pathetic that it becomes hilarious is a cartoon that Stephen Miller brought to his attention called “South Park.” Miller wanted the felon to sue the cartoon, itself a giggle. It is an accurate measure of exactly how thin-skinned these fragile men actually are. Someone – maybe polythene Pam, told the felon not to say anything, as it would risk a spike in the cartoon's viewership.

Now to more serious issues. The felon had believed he would enjoy omnipotent power in a parousia presidency. He intended to punish his enemies, such as James Comey. Now, 'ole Jim is not a popular figure on this forum, but even those who dislike him recognize that the case against him is falling apart at the seams. And the stuffing spilling out does not bode well for the prosecution. Indeed, those with serious legal minds are laughing at how weak it is. Hence, the felon is furious with his flying monkeys in the DOJ/FBI.

But what is really biting his bob has to do with what he considers betrayal on the Epstein Pedo Files. For no maga in DC has dared cross him in his second term, until now. Thus his rage against Marjorie Taylor Greene and three other House republicans. After fighting so hard to keep those files from the public, he was forced to change direction, and pretend he was all for their release. Let's take a deeper look at why.

Every thinking person recognized that the republicans in the House and Senate were spineless cowards, betraying their oath of office, out of fear of the felon. In truth, you could count the number of them who do not despise him on one hand. For example, take John Thune. He hates the felon and holds Mike Johnson in utter contempt – hence the Senate “vote” on releasing the files. While Thune lacks the courage of Marjorie Taylor Greene, his stance apes Erhlichman's Watergate position on Gray” “Let him twist slowly, twist slowly in the wind.”

Those from both parties in DC are being tight-lipped about evidence they have already seen. I do not know if this includes seeing the pictures of the felon with topless girls sitting on his lap that Michael Wolfe has spoken of. But what I have been told is that the evidence confirms that the felon was knowingly involved in the series of crimes involving trafficking girls and laundering money.

The DOJ will attempt to keep that information from being made public. Our job, as I see it, is to increase the grass roots' pressure on, so that the truth sees the light of day. And just for the heck of it, let's have fun in doing just that.

Clay Higgins

“The free world… all of Christendom… is at war with Islamic horror. Not one penny of American treasure should be granted to any nation who harbors these heathen animals. Not a single radicalized Islamic suspect should be granted any measure of quarter. Their intended entry to the American homeland should be summarily denied. Every conceivable measure should be engaged to hunt them down. Hunt them, identity [sic] them, and kill them. Kill them all. For the sake of all that is good and righteous. Kill them all.”
Clay Higgins post on facebook, June, 2017

During yesterday's vote in the House, a friend messaged me, “Who the fuck is Clay Higgins?” I told her she would need to get in line, as this fine christian man is currently with wife number four. A charmer by nature and nurture, he held a gun to his first wife's head during an argument, and was a mere $140,000 behind in child support with another. In 2021, he challenged a person to a boxing match for calling him a traitor for his vote against certifying the 2020 presidential election.

Higgins's self-identifies as a white supremacist. He is perhaps the most repulsive member of Congress today. In my opinion, the DU community should engage in a program to make him the face of the maga republicans seeking re-election in 2026. And should he issue a ring challenge, I'd nominate my son to box him.

An Animal Farm

The felon-in-chief has asked the DOJ to investigate Democrats mentioned in the Epstein scandal files. Surely, most of the DU community recalls the DOJ's FBI memo from July 7, 20025:

“We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties. “
https://www.justice.gov/opa/media/1407001/dl?inline

It is unlikely that corporate journalists will as anyone in the administration more probing questions than, “What changed?” yet we all know that the scaredycat-in-chief is desperate. Notice his attempted attack on Marjorie Taylor Greene in the wake of this week's Epstein scandal saga. This behavior is, in my opinion, interesting to consider in the context of human evolution.

A grasp of human evolution requires that we recognize that modern human beings are animals. As a group, we are as savage as our primitive ancestors. Our species, like every other one, was brought forth by the sun and earth. We share a vast number of similarities with numerous other life forms, past and present. There are examples found in our language that recognize this. The felon wants to be the “top dog.” He wants maga politicians to respect his version of the “pecking order.” In my day, teenage males sometimes provided solid evidence of their stupidity by “playing chicken.”

Rather than my going into an annoying detail, let's just recognize that many animals engage in ritual behaviors involving potential sex and potential violence. Though it is something I never would have thought or said in my own life, let's skip sex for this discussion. On to violence, and for sake of discussion, focus briefly upon violence within members of a species. I advocate same-species sex for humans, too, an opinion that accelerates when viewing the maga population.

Humans are social creatures, and thus, like with many other animals, tend to live in groups. Everyone who watched “Chimp Empire” knows that this tends to include two forms of violence. The first is in the context of a territorial dispute with another group, in which actual violence often takes place. The alpha male leads the group into a battle with the opposition.

This is distinct from the violence within the group to establish who is the alpha male. In many species, including human beings, this connects with what we are witnessing today with our beast fiend, the felon. It involves a display of size, strength, and intensity that intends to intimidate any potential challenger. We have likely all seen films of an alpha chimp or gorilla pounding its chest, smashing things around it, and issuing a challenge that translates to “come experience the fangs of a more powerful foe.” These behaviors tend to maintain the alpha's status within the group, as democracy is an option limited to only the most civilized of human beings.

While we have witnessed the felon bluffing strength by attacking vulnerable targets in the past, I can say with 100% confidence that this is different. I base my opinion on over sixty years in the great sport of boxing. There are two instances where the two fighters will meet before fighting: at the weigh-in, and during the referee's instructions before the first bell.

These days, weigh-ins are the day before the fight. Both fighters attempt to gain a psychological advantage, which can include stare-downs or pushing and shoving, or even throwing a punch. Back in the day, Sonny Liston won fights before the first bell rang, with an intensely hostile stare. He did not need words or gimmicks. Years later, a prime George Foreman or Mike Tyson did the same.

Now, I'm not foolish enough to compare myself with these great champions. But I have been a participant in numerous weigh-ins and referees' instructions. Out of 329 fights, I could list on one hand the number of opponents who did not show some type of fear or doubt before the first round. It's like a dog smelling fear on an opponent who will submit when they can not maintain your stare, or change their behaviors in that brief moment as the referee speaks.

The felon's stance on the Epstein scandal might be compared to a pin ball bouncing about. It has included lies – of course – and bluffs of being the roughest, toughest alpha ever. At the weigh-in on newly released Epstein documents, we see threats to investigate Democrats and an empty threat aimed at Marginally Taylor Greene. Add this to his having his corner men's pressuring something known as Lauren Boebert to create an avenue for him to avoid this fight. He is afraid.

It is not that the Epstein scandal alone will knock his ass out. It is the synergy of several issues, such as the economy, and his status as a lame fuck.

"I've Had It"

What to do at 1 am on a rainy night when this old bag of lard & bones aches? I had been under a quilt in my rocking chair, watching a podcast that I like. I had first come across it a few weeks ago. After catching up on a few episodes, I came on to DU:GD to see what, if anything, new was going on. So I read a few OP/threads about a Senate deal, and the reactions of two distinct groups – those okay with what some Senate Democrats are doing, and those who feel betrayed.

After over twenty years here, it does not come as a shock that there can be harsh disagreements on this forum. Is it possible that there are trolls afoot? Maybe some kids who weigh three to four times their IQ, in their mother's basement? Maybe. Even a single actual political operative, seeking to stir the pot? Or might one have to kid themselves to think such an unlikely thing in November of 2025?

Now, I wanted two things: first, for Democrats to break republicans, and second, to be 100% sure that people had food and health care. That would seem the least a civilized society could provide. Deep down, of course, I favor improving our educational system, including lowering the cost of public colleges and universities.

That may be in large part because I am convinced that one of the most dangerously entrenched problems today is economic warfare. It seems we are to avoid talking about this in proper society. We can talk about sexism, racism, street crime, inflation, and the president's tiny, mushroom-shaped prick, as one of my friends recently pointed out. But not how the opulently wealthy are treating the vast majority of American citizens. Thus, I will not even so much as hint at the context in which I view the cruelty involved in current events.

Instead, I'll recommend that people watch the podcast “I've Had It.” It features two women – Jennifer Welch, a Democrat, and Angie Sullivan, a former republican. They have interviewed individuals including Barack Obama, Elizabeth Warren, and Kamala Harris on their show. But they lean to the left, and thus have also interviewed AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Zohran Mamdani.

On of the things they stress is that we should look to see who their biggest sources of income are, in order to understand the positions they take, and votes they cast. If they take substantial income from a foreign lobbyist, perhaps one that isn't registered as much, it just might influence their stance on foreign affairs. Or if they take money from a domestic source, it is within the realm of possibility that this could influence their votes.

Now, this is just my opinion, but a government that will support the cruelty that one nation inflicts upon human beings – let's say the people of Gaza and the West Bank – is capable of inflicting cruelty upon segments of its own population. Others may disagree – perhaps strongly – and I can respect that. This is merely the thinking of an old man, in the early hours after skimming through DU:GD. I shall wait until I wake up later to decide if I'll even post this.

Last Tuesday, a number of different Democrats won elections. In some places, a progressive candidate may win where an establishment candidate such as Andrew Cuomo cannot. Yet in other cities and states, a conservative Democrat may be the best candidate. But one thing seems clear, at least to me: to win in both 2026 and 2028, our party needs the support of liberal and progressive independents. And the supporting of cutting back on the social safety net is not going to gain their support. In other words, we don't need the Weather Channel to see which way the wind blows.

Finally, let's be respectful of those on this forum who hold different opinions. Harsh and insulting responses will not change minds.

(Note: As a result of some interactions here this afternoon, I decided I would post this, which I wrote in the wee mourning hours.)

Intervention

“Be a good neighbor. If my garden is ready before yours, we should share mine now, and yours later. Too many people don't understand the power of sharing. You have to remember that all of the earth is the Creator's garden, and he shares it with us. That's why I say that sharing is divine intervention.”
Onondaga Chief Paul Waterman

There has been some interesting discussion regarding Justice Jackson's ruling. I'd like to focus on something that we should recognize as extremely important when it comes to the administration's cruel withholding of SNAP benefits. It is something that is actually closely related to Democratic victories on Tuesday.

In a healthy society, no one goes hungry based upon group identity. It is a symptom of a sick society when such a thing happens. I think we can all agree that the administration is diseased. However a sign of health is found in the current community responses.

In my region, which I dare say is not unique, there are very public efforts to collect and distribute food to those in need. There are a wide range of groups and individuals participating in this effort. The groups that organize the rallies my friends and I have attended in recent months are meeting the needs in two counties. High school students and teachers in a four county area are doing the same. There are civic and church groups active in this effort.

It's true that a human shit stain like Stephen Miller will hold that government has no need to feed the poor, that it is a community's responsibility. Fuck you, Stephen. We already do when we pay taxes. (Not that I didn't respect the Black Panther Party's providing a breakfast for school children. I liked a lot of the BPP's ideas.)

Community organizing in response to the maga cruelty is extremely important. What is being done today will help to continue progress at restoring a healthy society in the mid-term elections. It is an important part of the intervention we need to stop the madness.

4GW

"They're somewhat like the lowest forms of plant and animal life. Even at their highest point of vitality there is not much life in them; on the other hand, they don't die.”
Senator Eugene McCarty, on the nature of the republican party, 1968

Malcolm X had a system where he ranked people from one to one hundred, based on how much he could trust them. That has worked for me for decades, although in recent times I have added a zero to it. I find author Michael Wolff interesting, though a curious fellow. However, I trust him when he says that Steve Bannon told Jeffrey Epstein he was the only one he feared could sink the felon's 2016 election.

There is a social psychiatrist, who used to be a military intelligence analyst, who said that the reason the felon will not release the Epstein files is because they contain information on Epstein and his relationship with underage teen girls. What we are witnessing is a Shakespearean tragedy playing out on the global stage.

Back to Bannon, who ranks a zero. A repulsive scum. It is, in my opinion, important to recognize that while he looks like Otis Campbell, he had enough of a military background to rank as one of the most dangerous individuals associated with the felon-in-chief. Much like many billionaires and corporate heads, Bannon views the felon as a jackass he could ride to advance his goal of destroying democracy in our country. Keep in mind that Bannon thinks he is far more qualified to be president, and has actually told associates he may run in 2028.

Bannon and others – including foreign interests – have been engaged in what our community members with military backgrounds will recognize as “fourth generation warfare” or 4GW. Others will recognize it is similar to what the U.S. did in Central and South America and Iran for decades even before military analysts formalized it in 1989. Unlike traditional warfare between nations, it allows non-state interests to destabilize societies and overthrow governments without the use of foreign troops.

Now, this can include classic asymmetric warfare tactics, but it frequently focuses on psychological operations. Let's say, for example, that Russia had wanted to damage the US. They would focus on convincing a group in this country that there is a menace – for the heck of it, maybe brown-skinned human beings – that threatens their status in the country. This group already had uncertainty regarding why their quality of life was decreasing, including when job opportunities were limited. They knew that their children and grandchildren would not enjoy the things, such as owning a home, that they had. Their social status as white folk was being undermined.

There is an increase in anxiety about the not only the current state of affairs, but fear of the future. Years ago, this could be nurtured by use of the media, but the introduction of the internet added steroids to the mix. For example, something like Q-anon could convince hundreds of thousands to believe that the elite Democrats enjoyed a sex ring involving wee-little children ….. perhaps in the non-existent basement of a pizza parlor. I won't even mention what these fiends dined on in barbecue joints. But it was enough to damage social cohesion and increase the level of hatred into the political environment.

At this very moment, I am confident that anyone still reading this is thinking, “No shit, H2O Man. You took six paragraphs to say what we already knew.” Yet I have a bit more to say. The Universe is a powerful thing. We remember the befuddled masses of maga waiting outside a Dallas building, believing JFK, Jr. was going to appear and endorse the felon. Instead, in one of the most horrible of realities, the felon appointed RFK, Jr. to a position that he is as unqualified for as is the felon to be president.

At still other times, the Universe has a sense of justice tinged with irony. The felon and his campaign sought to exploit the fantasy about the democratic sex & barbecue pit, by promising to reveal the Epstein files. It is fair to say that this has back-fired on them. Surely, the most important thing is supporting the victims, and identifying what the Nixon crew might have called “creeps.” Democrats are saying we will play this hand, so lay the cards on the table.

But there is more. The Epstein scandal files include a lot of money- laundering and associated activities In my last essay, for example, I wrote about the christian nationalist televangelists. It goes beyond the disgraced Jim Baker preaching the gospel of Q-anon – which he did. It involves where billionaires invest their money, including in those programs that have destabilized our country over the past nine years. I will address this further in a future tedious essay.

The good news is that we have more powerful resources available to us. Of course, many of those such as Amendment 1 and voting rights are under attack. But by late Tuesday night, we saw that we can kick the stuffing out of maga. And that is a warm-up for what we will do in the 2026 mid-terms, which are now less than a year away.

Stay strong. Trust in the future.

An Hour in Mind

“The human brain is an imperfect instrument built up through long geological periods. Some of its levels of operation are more primitive and archaic than others. Our heads, modern man has discovered, may contain weird and irrational shadows out of the subhuman past – shadows that under stress may elongate and fall darkly across the threshold of our rational lives. Man has lost the faith of the eighteenth century in the enlightening power of pure reason.”
Loren Eiseley, “Darwin's Century,” Doubleday, 1958, page 345.

I had intended to start with something from Carl Sagan's book “The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark,” but was unable to locate it before the dog insisted I take her for a walk. A pleasant hour-long talk to myself followed as we explored the scents of an brisk, early November day. This essay is about that conversation, of course ….. but since an hour's walk tired me out, I grabbed the nearest Sagan book to my rocking chair, hence the quote from “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors.”

Ever since watching ABC's National Geographic specials on Mary and Louis Leakey in the 1960s, I have been fascinated by the evolution of the human family tree. I have the 40-piece collection from a late friend who worked at Olduvai Gorge with the Leakey family. The advances in science have allowed for a much greater understanding of human evolution that sixty years ago. So two of my favorite activities is reading new reports, and watching documentaries and pod casts on the internet.

A few months ago, I saw one of a series of “Gutsick Gibbon.” I was stunned, as being old I can't tell the age of the younger generation, and assumed that the host was an amazing high school student. As it turns out, she is actually a bit older, and getting her PhD in the spring. She is brilliant and has a wonderful sense of humor – which is important, since one of her hobbies is debating “creationists.

It should come as no surprise that many creationists – including those with a PhD – are focused on attacking evolution with a combination of pseudo-science and terribly weak arguments. This is obviously part of the white christian nationalists' attempt to control education in schools and universities. While their written reports are easy to destroy, I noticed that on their pod casts, they come across in a glib, authority-like way. Hence, they fool gullible christian nationalist.

Many of them exist in a “demon-haunted” world, in which they view “evil” as something that exists outside of humanity, especially when they “sin.” Rather than say, “Yeah, you caught me. I fucked up,” they claim that “Satan” tempted them. They will often blame a female for tempting them, as well. I find that more offensive than their superstitious beliefs about demons. Strange that. I assume they met a women who was experienced in bed. But I'm unaware of their saying a man or boy tempted them. That's the devil's work.

Now, I don't think there is a literal place known as “hell.” I do think it can be a psychological state that can involve a wide range of factors. However, if the Universe has prepared a hell for the leaders of megachurches, I'm okay with that. I respect that would be the Universe's will, not mine. I'd advocate for incarceration now, though.

I listened to myself saying, “Remember Jim and Tammy Baker.” Now, I thought of Jim as repulsive, and Tammy pathetic. I remember hearing that Tammy spoke in tongues in her youth, which at best would have been a superstitious practice of the pre- Homo erectus ritual, considering the history of human language. These days, it's a shared bullshit for those of little minds. Not the type I want determining what science books teach, but perhaps a chapter in an abnormal psychology text book.

Being a robber baron megachurch leader was a competitive and cut-throat gig. That provided some entertainment back in the day. Today, of course, the felon-in-chief was comfortable in having two sexual offending religious leaders advising him. Maybe he was swapping stories with them.

To be fair, as pathetic a human being as Tammy was, there was something redeeming about her advocating for treating those with AIDS with respect and human decency. This, of course, resulted in the true demons – the leaders of megachurches – attacking her for the “sinfulness” that the prophet Jesus advocated. It was recognized as a threat to their “prosperity theology.”

By this time, the dog and I were coming up the driveway.
